These show up as greenish-grey on my naturally very dark brown eyes (greener than pictured above). They look very natural from a distance, but close up it is still obvious that I am wearing lenses. While not hugely enlarging, these lenses do make my eyes stand out a lot more. And yes, they do look like they're shimmering! I have astigmatism, so these are useless to me for visual correction. I have to say that they did not interfere with my vision in any way when I wore them under my glasses. They are much thinner than the toric lenses I'm used to handling. I daresay they're more comfortable too, although I suspect the base curve is too steep for my eye and my left eye was slightly red after wearing for a few hours. This is a problem with individual fit, though, and not an indicator of lens quality. Overall, I think these are excellent and I would be interested to try more colours from this range. |
