What is Astigmatism?
Astigmatism is a condition where light
on the retina fails to focus into a clear image.
It occurs when the cornea or lens of the eye is not perfectly spherical
but instead has some degree of irregularity. With astigmatism,
the focus becomes blurry regardless of the distance,
resulting in overall blurred vision. This can also lead to eye fatigue.
Astigmatism can be caused by the asymmetrical curvature of the eyeball,
similar to the shape of a rugby ball in both vertical and horizontal directions.
It can also be caused by conditions such as inflammation or trauma
that affect the cornea irregularly.
If the degree of astigmatism is mild,
it can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
However, if the cornea has irregular
deformities, glasses alone will not be effective,
and contact lenses will be necessary.

with differing refractive powers and degrees
in the vertical and horizontal directions.

Astigmatism colored contacts are designed to correct
the astigmatism-related aberration
caused by the different curvatures of the cornea
and contacts of the eye. In this condition,
the cornea and lens have uneven curvatures,
resulting in varying refractive powers
in the vertical and horizontal planes. As a result,
the vision becomes blurry,
and small text may be difficult to read.
Sometimes, vertical lines may appear tilted.
Astigmatism colored contacts provide different refractive powers
in the vertical and horizontal directions to correct astigmatism.

Choosing Astigmatism
Colored Contacts
Just like any other contact lenses, it is important to select astigmatism
colored contacts that are prescribed based on your visual needs.
If you require colored contacts due to astigmatism
or other vision issues, consult with a specialist.
Proper fitting is particularly important for astigmatism colored contacts.
These lenses have specific axis orientations,
so make sure to wear them correctly for effective correction.
Astigmatism contact lenses have a predetermined orientation
to ensure proper correction.
Some colored contactses may have "guidelines" or "guide marks"
to assist with alignment, but QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism

that does not have guidelines.
The lower portion of the contacts is slightly thicker,
which naturally helps align the lens for proper correction.
After wearing the contactses,
gently blink about 10 times to allow the contactses
to settle in the correct position.
Since there is no need to search for guidelines,
they are easy to wear.
Sph is represented by initials such as
"S," "PWR" (Power), "P," or "D" (Diopter).
Please note that in some cases,
"S" is used to denote the lens diameter (DIA),
so be careful not to confuse the two.
