Guide to Astigmatism
Colored Contacts
Here's a summary of astigmatism,
which many people are surprisingly unfamiliar with!
01
What is Astigmatism?
Astigmatism is a condition where light
on the retina fails to focus into a clear image.
It occurs when the cornea or lens of the eye is not perfectly spherical
but instead has some degree of irregularity. With astigmatism,
the focus becomes blurry regardless of the distance,
resulting in overall blurred vision. This can also lead to eye fatigue.
Astigmatism can be caused by the asymmetrical curvature of the eyeball,
similar to the shape of a rugby ball in both vertical and horizontal directions.
It can also be caused by conditions such as inflammation or trauma
that affect the cornea irregularly.
If the degree of astigmatism is mild,
it can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
However, if the cornea has irregular
deformities, glasses alone will not be effective,
and contact lenses will be necessary.
It is recommended to consult an ophthalmologist for further advice.

Astigmatism
CHECK LIST
1. Experience difficulty seeing clearly
even with glasses or contact lenses.
2. Have trouble reading train
route maps or timetables.
3. Notice light distortion or double vision
in dark environments.
4. Find it challenging to read text on a computer.
5. Struggle to differentiate between certain numbers like 2, 5, 8, 9, 0.
→ If you have one or fewer items
checked on the astigmatism checklist:
You may not have astigmatism or have a very mild case
that doesn't require correction.
→ If you have two or more items checked on the astigmatism checklist:
It may be beneficial to consider astigmatism correction.
We recommend consulting an eye care professional for further guidance.
Astigmatism can be corrected with contact lenses.
With a wide range of designs available,
QUEENCONTACTS offers options for various degrees of astigmatism.
We also provide toric colored contacts
with customizable base curves (BC), ensuring a perfect fit.
If you've struggled to find suitable colored contacts
before, QUEENCONTACTS is here
to help you find the ideal astigmatism colored contacts!
03
What are Astigmatism
Colored Contacts?
Astigmatism colored contacts are
specially designed contactses with a unique shape.
These toric lenses resemble the shape of a donut,
with differing refractive powers and degrees
in the vertical and horizontal directions.
04
Guide to Astigmatism
Colored Contacts
Astigmatism colored contacts are designed to correct
the astigmatism-related aberration
caused by the different curvatures of the cornea
and contacts of the eye. In this condition,
the cornea and lens have uneven curvatures,
resulting in varying refractive powers
in the vertical and horizontal planes. As a result,
the vision becomes blurry,
and small text may be difficult to read.
Sometimes, vertical lines may appear tilted.
Astigmatism colored contacts provide different refractive powers
in the vertical and horizontal directions to correct astigmatism.
05
Choosing Astigmatism
Colored Contacts
Just like any other contact lenses, it is important to select astigmatism
colored contacts that are prescribed based on your visual needs.
If you require colored contacts due to astigmatism
or other vision issues, consult with a specialist.
Proper fitting is particularly important for astigmatism colored contacts.
These lenses have specific axis orientations,
so make sure to wear them correctly for effective correction.
Astigmatism contact lenses have a predetermined orientation
to ensure proper correction.
Some colored contactses may have "guidelines" or "guide marks"
to assist with alignment, but QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism
colored contacts use a "prism ballast design"
that does not have guidelines.
The lower portion of the contacts is slightly thicker,
which naturally helps align the lens for proper correction.
After wearing the contactses,
gently blink about 10 times to allow the contactses
to settle in the correct position.
Since there is no need to search for guidelines,
they are easy to wear.
Sph is represented by initials such as
"S," "PWR" (Power), "P," or "D" (Diopter).
Please note that in some cases,
"S" is used to denote the lens diameter (DIA),
so be careful not to confuse the two.
▶ For QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism colored contacts,
you can choose from 0.00 to -10.00,
and we also offer lenses
that can be selected up to -15.00 in some cases!
Also known as cylinder power, the higher the number,
the stronger the astigmatism.
Cyl is sometimes represented by initials such as "C" or "CY."
▶ QUEENCONTACTS provides options
from -0.50 to -4.50 in increments of -0.25!
It represents the angle at which the distortion is observed.
The angle is expressed in values from 0 to 180.
It may also be denoted as "AX."
▶ QUEENCONTACTS offers a wide range of astigmatism
colored contacts with selectable values from 5 to 180!
It indicates the curvature of the contacts,
where a smaller value represents a steeper curve
and a larger value represents a flatter curve.
▶ QUEENCONTACTS offers colored contacts
with base curve options of 8.2mm, 8.4mm, 8.6mm, and 8.8mm!
It refers to the overall diameter of the contacts in its curved state.
Since DIA represents the diameter of the transparent portion of the contacts,
it does not affect the appearance or correction level.
It refers to the diameter of the colored portion
of the colored contacts.
While it is often expressed in Japanese,
it is denoted as GDIA in alphabetic notation.

Top Provider of
Astigmatism Contacts!
QUEENCONTACTS
At our store, all of our contactses are manufactured
using a sandwich method with coloring materials approved
and regulated by the strict safety standards
of the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
They are produced in internationally approved facilities
that adhere to ISO standards,
ensuring the highestlevel of safety for our customers.
Our soft contact lenses, designed for 6-month or 1-year use,
have received excellent feedback for their affordability and quality.
1) Comfortable and Highly Corrective
Astigmatism Contact Lenses
[OPTIMUS+ TORIC] is designed and engineered
to provide comfortable and safe colored contacts options
for customers with astigmatism.
It offers excellent vision correction capabilities
while ensuring a comfortable wearing experience.
2) DCP (Double Coating Printing)
QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism contactses
are manufactured using the DCP method,
where pigments are printed between layers of lens material,
ensuring that the pigments do not directly touch the eye.
This technology prevents color fading,
keeps the contacts surface smooth,
and provides a safe and comfortable wearing experience.
3) Breathable Colored Contactses by QUEENCONTACTS
QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism contactses
allow oxygen permeability not only through the contacts material
but also through the circle line located within the contacts material.
This design ensures a moist and comfortable wearing experience throughout the day.
4) MULTI-CURVE Design for Clear Vision
QUEENCONTACTS' astigmatism contactses
are designed to provide clear vision.
The circle line, located within the contacts material,
allows oxygen permeability and ensures
a comfortable wearing experience all day long.
5) Soft EDGE Design
The soft and thin Edge design, ergonomically engineered,
minimizes friction with the cornea, reducing eye fatigue.
It has received high praise for its high oxygen
permeability and safety, which are essential
for astigmatism contactses.
The circle line is positioned
within the contacts material, enhancing safety.
